It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. And if you’re stumped on how to spend that money, HomeGoods has a new series of “Design Happy” videos to help inspire and guide you. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

Blue is all over my house in many shades (which is weird, since I’m not a huge blue fan) and green is about the only color the Hubs will let me use as a “pop” at the moment. I’m working on him, though. ;-) If it were up to me I’d have dark purple, lime green, and burnt orange all over the place! I also love navy, gray, and I’m discovering a love for yellow. Clearly, I need more than one house!

Yikes…I got so excited that I pressed enter before I told you about my color make over in mi casa! Currently, I am redoing my living room in shades of grey. My dining room is a dark grey and white with dark wood. My kitchen is painted green with grey under tones and my living room is getting a face lift with a mauve/grey/taupe look. I am in need of a new rug and some new throw pillows. once this room is complete…I will be moving onto my bedroom which will be blue also with grey undertones (I remember you mentioned flow of colors in a home and this is why I am sticking with grey undertones just in different colors)…….PLEASE COLOR ME with Grey!
