It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. And if you’re stumped on how to spend that money, HomeGoods has a new series of “Design Happy” videos to help inspire and guide you. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

My favorite color lately has been the absence of color and I am in the mood to paint everything white. May be the gray days of winter in the Northwest but adding pops of bright colors orange, yellow and lime green.

I am loving the color orange. It’s an accent color in our expected baby boy’s nursery, along with brown, and light blue. We have a seaside “theme.” I can’t wait to meet my little man and a $500 gift card would definitely let us finish off this nursery project! :)

Color me calluna! We just painted our daughter this color from farrow and ball and it’s my favorite. It’s so restful and tranquil and it plays well with the different shades of greys, creams and lavenders in the room. The paint was expensive but worth it.
