Fab Freebie: City Love

***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

This week’s TWO lucky winners are… Maria G (who loves Kansas City despite being under 12-15″ of snow at the moment) and Fiona (who loves her hometown of Washington DC so much she even loves the traffic). Congrats you two!

Today marks the seven year anniversary of our move to Richmond, VA. Woo hoo! It’s crazy to think that it has been that long, and to celebrate this week’s giveaway is from a city-minded artist: Kimberly of Albie Designs. We’ve had her charming illustration of New York City hanging in our hallway o’ frames for as long as there has been a frame collection there (my sister bought it for Sherry for her birthday a few years back). And now Kimberly has released a Richmond city print. So whether you want her new RVA work of art, or others from around the country (and even the globe) you’ll get your pick thanks to the $100 gift card that she’s offering up to two lucky winners.

Albie Designs Giveaway

  • PRIZE: An $100 gift card to Albie Designs on Etsy
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I LOVE [INSERT CITY NAME HERE]” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … why you love it so much. Is it a city you’re just thrilled to live in? Is a place that always makes you happy to visit? Or maybe it’s a city that you’ve never been to, but fantasize about visiting?
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Huzzah! This giveaway is available worldwide.
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Albie Designs.

    I LOVE BIRMINGHAM, AL!
My husband and I have had the privilege to call this city home for the past six and half years. We won’t be here forever but this beautiful city will always have a place in our hearts. Plus our little girl was born here!

    I LOVE CORVALLIS, OR!

This small town is where I was born, where I went to college and where I met the love of my life. It will always hold a place in my heart and since we’ve moved away it’s a favorite place to visit, especially during football season… Go Beavers!

I LOVE San Diego! Lived there for most of my teens and 20s. Good memories, love Mexican food, and the weather rocks! Loved going surfing in the morning, to the mountains and snow for lunch, and to the desert for a bonfire at night. So awesome!

I LOVE VEGAS!!! I complain that the hubs and I don’t ever vacation anywhere, but it’s because he’s a tad addicted/enamored with Vegas, and has sucked me into loving that city too. My first trip there, he proposed; we got married there; and we’ve had a myriad of trips in between and since then. Love the food, the activity, but mostly the eaaassyyy way to just kick back and do nothing if I so (and always do!) desire :)!

I love Lancaster, PA! I was born and raised right outside of this vibrant city. The city itself is always bustling with activity – theaters, endless boutiques & restaurants. But what I love most is right outside of the city you can escape to quaint towns and farmland. It’s a neat location and a must see.

Its a smaller city – there probably is no cool artsy print of it. But its my favorite city in the world, where I started my family and brought my son home from the hospital. I live near Philly now. I miss Ann Arbor every day, BUT, I really like Philly too. Its big and beautiful and exciting.
