Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And an especially happy one to our randomly selected, lucky winner who goes by the name of… Oona (who will likely celebrate tonight with dinner at “a lovely vegan restaurant”). Congrats Oona!

jewel me! My husband always gives me an Easter basket instead of doing something for Valentines Day. I give him something small and sweet – this year I found and framed the fortune cookie he got on our first date {11 years ago), using some wallpaper that he loved {but that we had to replace } as a mat.

This Valentines Day happens to be my fifth with my husband so we really want to celebrate…but we don’t love spending the day at overcrowded restaurants with less than desirable set menus. So, we are planning a picnic!
