I’m a medical student on my pediatrics rotation right now, so I’m hoping there will be some fun holiday-related activity going on with the kiddos in the children’s hospital on Thursday!

We aren’t doing anything until next month because we always find that going out on/around Vday is a giant headache… if we go out mid March, the restaurant is empty, waitresses are more relaxed and friendly, movie theaters are quieter… and grandmas are much more likely to be able to babysit.
That said, I’ve had fun leaving little valentine surprises like Batman vday cards (yeah, the kid ones) around the house, a failed attempt at heart shaped pancakes, heart shaped cookies, and some stuff from NGN for him and my daughters to find :)

This is our first Valentine’s Day together as a married couple and I am so excited! I love anything new for the Mr. and Mrs.! My husband is taking me to dinner at our favorite sushi place because its where we had one of our most special dates and then he has a surprise event after dinner (which I am really excited and nervous about) and then I have champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us when we get home! I can’t wait to dress up for him, and hopefully next year I can dress up with some KScott jewelry!!
