Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And an especially happy one to our randomly selected, lucky winner who goes by the name of… Oona (who will likely celebrate tonight with dinner at “a lovely vegan restaurant”). Congrats Oona!

Ironically, with a header like “Jewel Me,” we tend to keep it simple for Valentine’s Day. My husband, 2-year-old daughter and I head to a local pizza place for some thin-crust pepperoni and a beer (for the parentals, that is). We laugh, dote on our girl, eat a little too much, and revel in the love we share, which somehow manages to grow despite all the curves hurled our way. We’re a lucky bunch, and that’s what we celebrate on this otherwise sort of goofy day.
