Fab Freebie: Be Jeweled

***This giveaway has reached is now closed – see who won below!***

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And an especially happy one to our randomly selected, lucky winner who goes by the name of… Oona (who will likely celebrate tonight with dinner at “a lovely vegan restaurant”). Congrats Oona!

We love celebrating Valentine’s Day with you guys by giving away some free jewelry, and this year Sherry’s especially stoked because the prize is coming from none other than Kendra Scott – one of her favorite places to request that I buy her earrings for various occasions (like the past two Christmases). Kendra Scott has definitely earned me a few husband points, so this (are you ready for it?) $500 gift card means that someone else out there can score major points from the one they love – or one lucky winner can grab her own jewels for herself. And probably have money leftover to share the wealth with a few friends or relatives. Oh and if you fancy yourself a Kendra Scott in the making, you can even use their Color Bar to customize several of their pieces. So yeah, Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Kendra Scott Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $500 gift card toward Kendra Scott
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “JEWEL ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …how you plan to celebrate (or not celebrate) Valentine’s Day this year. Is there a special date night in your future? Are you sending your kids off with backpacks filled with cards for classmates? Or are you just gonna treat it like any other Thursday?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 13th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: This giveaway ships worldwide. Woot!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

I’m both sending my 3 kids to school with valentine’s cards for their classmates, AND going to make sure my husband has a delicious meal to eat when he gets home from work. I’m giving him a small but thoughtful gift that he will think is funny. :)

Valentines day will begin with passing out cards candy at work (never too old to handout valentines!) then end with a trip to the dog park with my sweet little pug and a homemade dinner at home with family and friends. Valentines day is a day to celebrate the ones you love :)

JEWEL ME! We do a very simple valentines day around here. I helped my 2 year old son make a few valentines for the loves of his life (grandparents and daddy). I did specifically ask for one thing this valentines day, since I’m 30 weeks pregnant: really nice chocolate covered strawberries…let’s hope he listened to me ;)

Growning up my mom always stressed the importance of showing people around you how much you love them. Not just your boyfriend or now husband. So I plan to spread the love to everyone this V-Day. I’m planning to call some long distance friends and I always like to do some random act of kindness- like buy a stranger a coffee.

I’ve decorated my apartment with all things Valentine’s Day thanks to Pinterest :) I’m making my coworkers some Siracha Lollipops too (we frequent the Vietnamese restaurant down the street from our office and load up on Siracha in all our dishes). Can ya tell I want to spread the love on Thursday? xoxo

A few years ago I was pregnant and my due date was February 17th, so we took Valentines Day (which we normally never celebrate) as an opportunity for one last “no kids” date night and went out for Chinese food. It was so fun and romantic that every Valentines Day since (now with kids!) we celebrate with Chinese food, and we’ve turned it into more of a family-love day instead of romantic-love day. ;)
