Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And an especially happy one to our randomly selected, lucky winner who goes by the name of… Oona (who will likely celebrate tonight with dinner at “a lovely vegan restaurant”). Congrats Oona!

I will not be celebrating on Valentines day, instead a few days later because my husband is gone for 3 days at a time for work ): When he comes back we will also celebrate our 4 year anniversary with dinner and whatever surprise he has!

JEWEL ME! My husband’s birthday is the day before Valentine’s Day, so we’ll usually celebrate with a date night or two the weekend before or after. And the kids were definitely psyched to celebrate with their Valentine’s Day parties at school!

We are hanging out at home with our “furry child” Winston (the Boston Terrier), grilling some steaks and kicking back with some beer and cider. We also treat everyday like it’s Valentine’s Day…that’s what my grandparents always said too :) Much Love <3

We’re currently taking a lindy hop/swing dance class which happens to fall on Thursdays and is always followed by a large dance party at a local business. I’m planning to pack a small picnic (paninis, cheese, and wine) which we can take to the lake near our apartment for an early dinner.
