Jewel ME! I am going to get up early on Valentine’s day and my my husband some red tinted Peppermint bark. It’s his favorite. I then hope to cook some crab legs for dinner. I’ve never done it before so I hope it will be ok. If not…yeah for frozen pizza!
PS I hope you guys had fun in Atlanta. I wish I could have made it over to see you guys, but I had friend birthday plans that couldn’t be broken.

My husband usually does something nice on Valentine’s Day, however this year I will be off work so I plan to surprise him and cook a nice dinner (he is the cook in the family) and enjoy the time with him and out 2 year old son.

My husband are celebrating Valentine’s Day this year by staying in and cooking a “fancy” meal. I am making crab-stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, crab-stuffed steak as an entree with red-skinned potatoes and broccoli as a side and molton lava cake as a dessert (with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries!)! Hubby is super excited about this! :) We usually don’t buy gifts for this holiday, but I splurged and bought him some really nice headphones he had mentioned wanting…This gift card would be an awesome gift for me!!! :)

When we were first married, we’d go out for a cheap dinner on “Valentine’s Eve” – just to have an excuse to go out for a fun (read: not fancy) meal together, while avoiding the Valentines Day crowds. We might try to reinstate that this year with our little guy (so I’m going out with the two people I love most), and go get some awesome Neapolitan pizza on Wednesday night.
