I’m a recent addict to Fab (I own more t-shirts from there than I probably should admit). So imagine my reaction when I got an email from them offering to do a – wait for it – $500 Fab gift card giveaway for you guys. Their site includes items marked down between 10-60% from retail prices across just about every category – home, accessories, art, kitchen, pets, kids, clothing, jewelry, etc. And everything is selected with a discriminating-but-not-too-serious design eye. There’s an emphasis on quirky, weird, and colorful items within their sales… which means there’s a lot of fun to be had while spending the five hundred beans that are up for grabs.

fab me! our liquor stock is pretty quirky. we only buy it for “novelty” drinks, so we have things like whipped cream vodka, peppermint schnapps, orange liqueur, etc. nothing that you’d want on its own, haha.

Our entire mantle is covered in driftwood we’ve found walking down California beaches. I can move it around to create different shapes and angles. It’s like a growing sculpture that was created for zero dollars.

One of my favorite things is this old piece of pressed wood that my brother pulled out of the trash and used as a painting palette. Now it’s covered in gobs of random colors that mix and bleed with each other. I love the randomness of it.

I have a string of fairy lights with a piece of recycled coloured glass over each one. I bought them in Seattle – as soon as I saw them I knew I wanted them in my home. I’m British and live in the UK, so it’s a cool reminder of one of my fun trips to the US!
