I’m a recent addict to Fab (I own more t-shirts from there than I probably should admit). So imagine my reaction when I got an email from them offering to do a – wait for it – $500 Fab gift card giveaway for you guys. Their site includes items marked down between 10-60% from retail prices across just about every category – home, accessories, art, kitchen, pets, kids, clothing, jewelry, etc. And everything is selected with a discriminating-but-not-too-serious design eye. There’s an emphasis on quirky, weird, and colorful items within their sales… which means there’s a lot of fun to be had while spending the five hundred beans that are up for grabs.

FAB ME! Oh man, so many quirky things. My husband bought 3 pop art prints of 3 “bosses” from MegaMan from an artist on Etsy. They are HUGE and hang over our TV. I am a good wife for letting this happen : )

Fab me! My father in law traveled all over the world for work and always brought things back for his kids, so when I married my husband he came with a large collection of international artifacts including a mounted piranha from Brazil.

Fab Me! We like to collect antique oddities and hang them up in the house. Some of the best are: very old foot-sizer, early 1900s hand held copper fire extinguisher, and a piece of a door panel with the original chipping paint and door knob.

Perhaps the thing that is kind of quirky in my home, or at least not totally normal, is my green couch. It is a nice, light, grass green, which I LOVE! It goes perfect with the blues and purples I adore so much, and like the guy told me at the store, earth tones go well with other earth tones, so this green couch should last me a long time!
