Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries  – see who won below!***

According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).

Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items  – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

Sorting With Style Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

GIMME A BREAK! I would definitely drag my husband (and baby) to the Grand Canyon, where I’ve been trying to convince the hubby to go for awhile.

Gimme a break! I would stay in my pajamas at least two of the five days and watch TV in bed with frozen pizzas. (I used to do this on Saturdays – everyone knew NOT to come knocking on my door that one day a week. Whew! Decompress time!)

GIMME A BREAK!! Well, this will be my last year to enjoy Spring Break since I am graduating from College in a month. I haven’t wanted to dwell on that fact. But if I were still getting a Spring Break I think I’d like to mix it up: one year I’d go traveling & the next year I’d stay at home to relax.

I’m still in grad school, and I got spring break this year but it was spent interviewing for jobs, and i got a job! If I had another real spring break, I’d probably just stay at home and relax and read some books…I’m so lame.

If I got a spring break still….I would go to Fiji. I have always wanted to go, and keep saying I will go next spring break since my husband is a teacher and does get a spring break.

    OR

I also would love to go to the Outer Banks of NC with my son Porter so I can show him my favortie place to be. I could also show him where his parents got married.

We actually just got back from spending a blissful four days in a cabin in the woods. We hiked, cooked in the tiny tiny kitchen, fished, and sat by the fire. It’s how I love to spend Spring Break (well, my kid’s spring break :).
