Fab Freebie: The Simple Life

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Random.org is wishing a very happy new year to TWO of you by selecting you as our winners. And those lucky people is… KC (who after a recent move to a smaller space would really love to pare down her home to the bare essentials) and Katie (who needs to gets her computer files organized since she can’t find anything). Congrats!

Since ringing in the new year usually means ringing in some resolutions about simplifying or getting organized, simplify 101 might come in handy. They offer online workshops (as well as free guides) to help folks get organized, stay focused, and reach their goals – and include downloadable print and audio materials, a resourceful community, and access to professional instructors. So TWO of you are gonna win enrollment in your choice of either of these two upcoming workshops:

    KEEP IT SIMPLE!

I’m trying to juggle two jobs, one which requires a lot of prep on my own time, as well as playing an active role volunteering in my community. I need help figuring out how to get everything done without compromising family life, and still keep my head on straight!

    KEEP IT SIMPLE

Two areas of my life that need to be simplified are my diet and my finances. I want to just be able to not think and eat healthy everyday. And my finances are too complicated. I want to be able to just look at the numbers everyday and know I’m doing okay and not feel guilty when I spend money! :o)

    KEEP IT SIMPLE!

I have several area’s in my life / home that I’ve been working on. First and foremost is the never ending war with paper. When I close the door to my home office, they do a little dance, and make a little love, and get down all over the place! I just cannot seem to ever be on top of it! By simplifying systems in there, I know the work / life relationship would be a much more harmonious one!

I actually de-clutter year round. I have recently been opening boxes, closets, pretty much anything hidden and getting rid of things I haven’t used or wont need. I mainly donate things in good condition to Goodwill or Disabled Veterans.

Our guest room and laundry room are disaster areas. In our three-bedroom home, the guest room has become a dumping ground for things that don’t belong in the nursery or master bedroom, and the laundry room is the first place you enter in the house, so lots of things get left right there. Everywhere else in the house is put together except those rooms!

I could use benefit in simplifying my pantry (both food and cooking appliances) and especially my bedroom closet and the kids bedroom closet. Way too much unused clothing, paperwork, toys, shoes, etc. Way too unorganized. I am willing to help myself but at a loss of where to begin!

Um, I’m going to embarrass myself and just say EVERYTHING in my life could use some help right now! lol Our schedule is a bit hectic at the moment and leaves little time for organizing, de-cluttering and simplifying. I’m a stay at home mama to 2 little ones and also a full time student. My husband works full time, is a full-time student and also an Army reservist (meaning we’re one weekend short each month due to his training). We could definitely use some advice and handy tips for making the most of our free time.

As a side note, I’m loving the amazing kitchen transformation. You guys have a way of making priming and painting exciting, and I’m still trying to figure out how that’s even possible. Much love!
