I NEVER thought I would have a tattoo, but this past summer my mom got cancer so me and my three sisters got a tiny (smaller than a penny) cancer ribbon on the inside of our ankle/foot. My parents always hated tattoos, but they actually loved this.

I have six tattoos, each representing something or someone important to me. I’m saving up for the tattoo that will expand on the one tattoo I gave myself: a book on my left hand that I want to incorporate into a sleeve of a flying whirlwind of books, some open to pages of the words or images from the books that inspire me. There are many more to come after that, too.
