Tattoo me:-) Well, I have 3 sisters, so we had designed a tattoo to represent the 4 of us while visiting some local wineries…well, I was still nursing at the time so 2 of the 4 of us got the tattoo on the back of the neck. I stopped nursing not too long ago and got pregnant again, so still no tattoo for me!

I have the silhouettes of nine tiny birds flying across my shoulder blade. The bird at the top is blue and the rest of them are black. It is supposed to remind me to not be afraid to stand out, and be a leader, not a follower. There are nine of them because I had it done in 2009.

And I loooove all of my tattoos (even though my mother still swears I’ll regret them one day). I have a big back tattoo with flowers and birds that is still a work in progress after 6 years, a tattoo on the back of my neck of a swirly design, and some stars on my hip. I have no regrets about any of them, and have had no trouble moving up professionally, no one has ever been bothered by them…and I currently work in a pretty conservative office. Yay for living in California!
