TATTOO ME!!! I’ve got a few actual tattoos…a shamrock, Hawaiian flowers on my lower back, and a phoenix on my upper back. The shamrock is a family tradition (everyone has one…I HAD TO DO IT!) and the phoenix is dedicated to my mom who raised us as a single mom and always sacrificed everything for us. And for those who wonder, I don’t regret any of them!

TATTOO ME!!! I have two tattoos, one on my back, one on my left shoulder blade. The back one I am going to get altered because I got it at 18 and it is the same as an old friend, and I want something that permanent a little more personal now that I am older. The one on my left shoulder blade had a lot of meaning for me. It is a calla lily wrapped around a wooden cross. The calla lily is my favorite flower and symbolizes purity, rebirth and resurrection and has the most amazing shape! I carried them in my wedding. It is wrapped around a wooden cross to symbolize my faith and the purity of faith, and I got it on my left shoulder blade because it is behind my heart – protected by my heart – close to my heart (and I didn’t want it on my chest! ha!) I am considering one more tattoo and that is my wedding date on my left ring finger so when I do not wear my wedding ring (as I do not wear it a lot in my line of work because I work with patients at a hospital and in the field) I still have something symbolic and representative of my marriage.
LOVE the yellow dirt devil fantasy tattoo! We have used yellow as an accent color in our kitchen and dining room and I love the brightness and cheeriness of yellow!!! :)
