The husband and I often joke that our kids are going to one day ask why we aren’t normal like everyone else’s parents and have tattoos. We love that we’re rebelling against the cultural norm by leaving our skin unmarked.

-I promised my family I’d wait until after I walked down the aisle (next month!!) to consider getting a tattoo- and now in my late twenties the drive to do so is dwindling. But more importantly, WE NEED A VACUUM. Ours just bit the dust (pun intended) and those are just super precious.

TATTOO ME! — I don’t have a tattoo and once was in a room with 11 other girls, all of which had a tattoo or another. I actually felt special by not having one! That being said, a small, tasteful tattoo somewhere inconspicuous can be special… specially if you get it for something meaningful and memorable, like competing as an Iron(wo)man, getting a nobel prize, traveling to space… you know, the little things. ;)

I don’t have any tattoos. I could never think of anything significant enought o be inked on my body for the rest of my life. I always thought, “How will this look in 65 years?” Probably not that cool.

Tattoo me! I have a small tattoo on the inside of my left wrist that says “focus” in my husband’s handwriting. Focus means hearth in Latin, so it’s my permanent reminder to focus on my life at home, even when things like jobs try to get in the way.
Also, that vacuum looks freaking awesome.

I have a Japanese symbol on my right shoulder blade (had to think of where it was for a minute!) that I forget is even there. I got it on my 19th birthday when I was out celebrating with friends. It means ‘Laughter’. I don’t regret the tattoo itself, but I do regret getting one (if that makes any sense) Or I wish I would’ve gotten something less cliche! Haha :D
