I did the Ironman Canada triathlon in 2001 – I trained for a year in order to complete the race in one piece. About a year after the race I got the Ironman Canada symbol tattooed on my lower left leg, just above the ankle bone. I love it!

I have 2- a shamrock (my family is Irish) and the word “Love” in script on the top of my foot. I would like more though, they’re kind of addicting once you get one.

I have 2 tattoos. One on each arm. The first one is a dove in the colour blue and the other is an old school Whirlitzer style jukebox (because I love old music from the ’50s and ’60s( with some girly stuff around it like flowers, a heart, and a star. I would like more one day, but they are expensive and I don’t know what else I want done yet. These were free because my boyfriend at the time was a Tattoo Artist!

TATTOO ME! When I was a college freshman I wanted a white ink tatoo on my wrist, similar to Lindsay Lohan’s (I think hers says “breath”). This was when she was just a standard Hollywood partier and not all-out crazy. Thankfully, my dad told me he wouldn’t pay tuition if I tatooed or pierced any part of my body (other than one hole in each ear lobe). Thanks Dad!

I have the logo from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar between my shoulderblades. My rabbi father wasn’t thrilled, but he was the one who first introduced me to the movie when I was a kid!! It’s become an extremely meaningful story to me, as a religious studies major and as a spiritual person. I would also like to get a tattoo on my foot of some lyrics from the Stone’s song Ruby Tuesday – “Catch your dreams before they slip away”.
