I have two tattoos. My first one is on my foot and says “you can’t lose me.” From as far back as I can remember, my mom and I have always said that saying to each other. It was written in every birthday card and said before every trip. When I told her I was going to get it tattooed, she decided to get it too. Now we both are reminded that we can never lose each other every day.
My second one is a feather on my rib cage. You can’t see it unless I am topless, which makes it only for me. I recently graduated university with a teaching degree and wanted a feather to symbolize me finding my wings. I moved out of town to go to university and did not know who I was. I left university knowing who I am, what I want to do with my life, and what I am capable of. I found my wings :)
I will probably get another one one day…. I have a rule for myself: I have to want it for at least a year!
I want to know if either of you have tattoos!? :)
