3: Perseverance (in greek) on my left wrist and Rom. 5:3 under it– this is by far my favorite (Bible verse and tattoo)
2: Cross on my right foot (got this one prior to spending a summer of college counseling elementary kids at my favorite camp)
1: (MY MOST REGRETTED) Cherries on my hip (its not visible but I got it when I was not so smart in my high school days) My friends and I still laugh about it!

Funny (too long) story. I don’t have one, but have always wanted a little cross. I mentioned the prevalence of tattoo shops when we were visiting my dad’s friend in Houston (I’m from OK, and at the time tattooing was illegal) to which he (my dad’s friend since Kindegarten) said “if you’ll wait until you are double your age, and you still want a tattoo, I will pay for it”. I was 20 at the time. I’m 31 now… only 9 years left to wait.

I already have a tattoo. I picked a design, sat on it for THREE years, had a kid in the meantime to ensure that that area didn’t stretch. When it didn’t, I waited a year and got my dream tattoo. Still love it 4 years later. Thinking about adding to it. Oh yea, and it’s a chimp meditating, doing a yoga pose. I put in near my right pelvic area. Easy to hide or show with a bikini depending on my mood and company.
