Fab Freebie: The Devil’s In The Details

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

Thanks to the devilish randomization that is random.org, our two winners are… Steph (who was just talking to a colleague about the two tattoos she has…for now) and Alason (who’s thinks her little butterfly tattoo on her back makes people assume she’s a bad girl). Congrats ladies!

Since you guys seemed to enjoy last week’s spring cleaning related giveaway, how about another? Your house can’t possibly be all cleaned up yet can it? This one comes from the folks over at Dirt Devil who are gonna hook two of you up with a tattoo. But you’re not going to disappoint the parental units in this case. The Tattoo is a light-but-powerful canister vacuum that boasts an ornate “tattoo” design on its body, comes in four devilish hues, and includes cool details like an automatic cord rewind feature. You know, so you can suck with style.

Dirt Devil Tattoo

  • PRIZE: A Dirt Devil Fantasy Tattoo series canister vacuum in any color
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TATTOO ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … dish about what tattoo(s) you have, wish you had, wish you didn’t have, or never ever wanted (feel free to share the where and the why too if you’d like).
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States and Canada
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Dirt Devil.

    TATTOO ME!

No tattoos yet, but I really liked the tattoo Gretchen had from this last season of Project Runway (even though I wasn’t a big fan of her personality or designs). It was an arrow on the back of her arm between her shoulder and elbow. I’m afraid of how it would look on my future flabby-old-lady-arms, though.

    TATTOO ME!

I have a tattoo of an ‘A’ on my lower right hip area. (My name is Amelia so it stands for that). Although it is really cute and tiny, I was 18 at the time and would not do it over if I could turn back time.

I have 2 roses tattooed on my one foot.. want to get an anchor and rope on the other foot .. roses are timeless, they represent love and passion, etc., and anchors have a ton of symbolic meaning as well. Although, I wont forget how un-baringly painful it was when i go back for my second!

I have a tudor rose on my wrist and am still working out the design in my head for the next one. I’m not really indecisive, more that I take time and get the details right before I commit to a lifelong design :)

    Tattoo me!

I think I surprised many friends and family when I got my first (well, it’s still my only) tattoo a couple years ago — at about 35.

I have a beautiful, colorful, whimsical, branchy Tree of Life on my lower back. No one knows it’s there unless I want them to know it. Dangling off of one branch is a delicate cursive letter M, for my daughter Maeve. You wouldn’t even notice it unless you were looking for it. The tree is modeled after the work of my all-time favorite tree of Life artists, Karla Gudeon. I love what the tree of life stands for and it’s something that, simply put, feels right and true and I’ve not had one regret. I think waiting as long as I did to be sure was key. Plus, once you know, you just know. If I had to think hard about ideas for the tattoo then I knew it wasn’t the time.

And as for the pain (and let me just say my threshold is very low!) I was elated at how “painless” it really was. Awesome experience. Beautiful art I will always have with me.

Now …. if only I had SOMETHING to clean my wood floors and area rugs (canisters are best for wood floors, you know), and I’m hauling around a 19-year-old Oreck that spits at me.

I don’t think I’ll ever get a tattoo because it would be too hard to choose a design that I’ll be happy with forever. If I did get one, I’d probably get one having to do with my being vegan.

TATTOO ME! I have three tats. One on the top of my foot and two on my back. I sued to want to shave my head and get a tattoo of a dragon or something circling my head. I thought this would have been perfect while backpacking South America. Unfortunately I never grew the cajones!

    Tattoo me!!

Never been able to decide on something I wanted permanently etched on my body, but I’m running 2 marathons this year (putting me up to 3 total) and if I ever do more than 5, I might get “26.2” placed discretely on my hip or lower back– I can’t imagine a tattoo is THAT much more painful than running 26.2 miles.

TATTOO ME! I have one and I most certainly regret it! I love the idea of the little lady bug (that in reality looks like a mole) that lives on my foot but the execution wasn’t the best. What makes it worse is that my older sister told me not to get it at the at-someone’s-house-tattoo-party I went to yet I did. Now, not only do I have to see it every day but I also hear my sister saying “I told you so!”

Does this vacuum by any chance suck up hated tattoos from skin?? That would be awesome!

TATTOO ME! No tats, but I used to want a tattoo of a lady bug sitting on a twig with a little green leaf on it located near my ankle. But then I thought the lady bug (being red and all) might end up looking like I had a cancerous mole on my leg so I gave up on the idea.
