Fab Freebie: The Devil’s In The Details

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

Thanks to the devilish randomization that is random.org, our two winners are… Steph (who was just talking to a colleague about the two tattoos she has…for now) and Alason (who’s thinks her little butterfly tattoo on her back makes people assume she’s a bad girl). Congrats ladies!

Since you guys seemed to enjoy last week’s spring cleaning related giveaway, how about another? Your house can’t possibly be all cleaned up yet can it? This one comes from the folks over at Dirt Devil who are gonna hook two of you up with a tattoo. But you’re not going to disappoint the parental units in this case. The Tattoo is a light-but-powerful canister vacuum that boasts an ornate “tattoo” design on its body, comes in four devilish hues, and includes cool details like an automatic cord rewind feature. You know, so you can suck with style.

Dirt Devil Tattoo

  • PRIZE: A Dirt Devil Fantasy Tattoo series canister vacuum in any color
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TATTOO ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … dish about what tattoo(s) you have, wish you had, wish you didn’t have, or never ever wanted (feel free to share the where and the why too if you’d like).
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States and Canada
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Dirt Devil.

    TATTOO ME!

I’ve never been a tattoo person, but if I did get one, I would be tempted to put Charles Dickens’ face on my hand or somewhere conspicuous.

TATTOO ME! No tattoos for me – I’ve never been able to think of a word or object that I’d like to make permanent. But I’m open to it if the opportunity presents itself!

And the only tatoo I have right now is green and blue blob that is supposed to be a zebra that I got out of a pack of fruit stripe gum. I never can get the stripes not to blur…hmmm…Kat von D may have better solutions for this problem…

TATTOO ME! Yes I have two tattoos – both of which were impulse buys. Whoops! But I love them – remind me of my carefree college days!

    TATTOO ME!

At the age 18… i did the most original thing you could imagine. I got a chinese symbol tattoo’d on my lower back. Even though I dont love it anymore.. it represents who i was at one time… a very impressionable teenager… apparently ;)
Eh. It is what it is. Right?

I’ll probably never get a tattoo. (I just can’t imagine having one when I’m old, even though I love the way that tattoos look on younger people.) That hasn’t stopped me from deciding what one I’d get, you know, if I was forced — it’s a flying fish (with feathered wings) on my ribcage.

    TATTOO ME!

The same way I couldn’t commit to painting my bedroom one colour for the rest of my life, I can’t imagine haveing some ink permanantly on my skin. However, if there was a way to magically remove it when I got sick of it I would get a Maple Leaf under my big toe. Weird spot to demonstrate my Canadian pride, eh?

I’ve thought about getting a peace symbol tattoo before, but when I think about putting it on my body before, I imagine when I’m 80 and how it will look. That usually makes me decide against it.

    TATTOO ME!

My first tattoo arrived at ten years ago at the age of 20. My best friend and I got matching tattoos of the japanese kanji for “friendship” (looks like this: http://www.japanese-name-translation.com/site/kanji/friendship.gif )
The tat is only about an inch tall and is above my right ankle.

My second tattoo came later, maybe around 23-24? A jumping dolphin (how cheesy, i know! but i’ve loved dolphins for as long as i can remember) over my left ankle. If I had it to do over, I may skip this one… mostly because the artist did a crappy job and i still need to have it touched up.

Both tats generally go un-noticed because they are small and not in prominant locations. My mother, who I dubbed the “anti-tattoo nazi” many years ago, didn’t kill me when she saw my tattoos, so I figure they can’t be THAT bad!
