Fab Freebie: The Devil’s In The Details

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

Thanks to the devilish randomization that is random.org, our two winners are… Steph (who was just talking to a colleague about the two tattoos she has…for now) and Alason (who’s thinks her little butterfly tattoo on her back makes people assume she’s a bad girl). Congrats ladies!

Since you guys seemed to enjoy last week’s spring cleaning related giveaway, how about another? Your house can’t possibly be all cleaned up yet can it? This one comes from the folks over at Dirt Devil who are gonna hook two of you up with a tattoo. But you’re not going to disappoint the parental units in this case. The Tattoo is a light-but-powerful canister vacuum that boasts an ornate “tattoo” design on its body, comes in four devilish hues, and includes cool details like an automatic cord rewind feature. You know, so you can suck with style.

Dirt Devil Tattoo

  • PRIZE: A Dirt Devil Fantasy Tattoo series canister vacuum in any color
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TATTOO ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … dish about what tattoo(s) you have, wish you had, wish you didn’t have, or never ever wanted (feel free to share the where and the why too if you’d like).
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States and Canada
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

TATTOO ME! I have two tattoos, both gotten when I was over 40. The one on my wrist, was gotten after I lost 50 pounds. It’s a beautiful curlicue design that looks symmetrical but isn’t. It’s based on the concept of wabi-sabi- or beauty in imperfection. :) It reminds me that I don’t have to be perfect, which is something I definitely need reminding of! My other tattoo is on my back, and is a killer whale done in an ethnic style. Both are part of me and who I am, and I love them!

Tattoo me! But really, please don’t! I just know it would one day end in regret. My husband has tattooed our kids names on his arm, but I have no desire for a tattoo. Ever. If you forced me to get one, I would get my kids names in a delicate print on my wrist. But, you would have to pay me a lot of money. I don’t think I need to worry about that happening! :)

TATTOO ME!!! I DO need a vacuum so bad. Right now I’m having to borrow my mom’s (lame, i know–but at least she lets me!) It would be lovely NOT to have to do so :). I have to admit that I have never had the desire to actually tattoo myself…. but as a graphic designer I like “tattooing” other things… and these Dirt Devils are really fun and unique in the world of vacuums.

    TATTOO ME!
My husband, his dad, sister, and brother were all going to the Baltimore Tattoo Museum to get their tats done on the same day, and I was stuck at home in Providence, feeling miserable that I couldn’t go. (The tattoos were in honor of someone we loved and lost) So, when my Mom asked me what I was going to do over the weekend, I said, “I think I’m going to get a tattoo,” and she FLIPPED. Of course, my response was, “I’m 32, Mom!”

So I have a designed myself (!) lotus with an Om in the middle — right over where your heart chakra is supposed to be — not that I knew that at the time. My only regret is that I can’t really see it, and i forget it’s there sometimes!!

Tattoo Me!!! I was **this** close to going with that star on hips craze from like 10 years ago, but then decided not to….. then when I had my son, I “had to” get his birthday or something representing him, but couldn’t decide what and where. Now I’m just meh about it, so none for the future and thankful I didn’t give into the craze of the latter days. What about you? Tell us you have some embarrassing tattoo…..
btw, that vaccuum is longing to meet my floors since my current one is crap….. teeheee =)

Tattoo Me! My sister and Mom went out one crazy afternoon after my sister’s 18th Birthday and got matching tattoos. Now my Dad wants to get a matching tattoo with me! My dad has been asking for 8 years now… i’m 27 and I still don’t have the guts to do it! Maybe if I get a new vacuum cleaner – I can use that as an excuse for money saved in one area to be spent on my new tattoo! (maybe not)

    TATTOO ME!!!

I have only one tattoo, and as goofy as it is, I LOVE IT! It’s a smiley face (yep, just like the Wal-Mart logo), and I had it done when I was 19 years old (which seems like an eon ago). My mother told me I’d regret it. “What happens when you’re 80? Will you really want that smiley face starin at you?” Well, I’m not nearly 80 yet, but I must say I still love it. It reminds me of one of my favorite single summers, and a time of freedom in my life!

TATTOO ME! I have a small heart on my left foot just above my ring toe. I got it for my 50th birthday. Just about to have my 57th and I love it as much today as I did when I got it. I get a lot of ribbing from others my age, but I really don’t care. I’ve spent most of my life worried about what others may think of my decisions and this little was just for me! I’d do it again in a heartbeat!!

TATTOO ME! I have never had a permanent tattoo but I did get a wonderful mehndi tattoo at a bridal shower a few years ago. It was on the back of my left hand and included a ring around one of my fingers…..it was very beautiful. The woman (artist) did it free hand. My kids thought I was very cool for a short time. I would do it again in a heartbeat but no permanent ones.

I’m totally digging the orange one (it kind of reminds me of my tattoo). I have a string of flowers up and across the right side of my abdomen… It’s beautiful and colorful and each of the flowers has a very specific meaning. It looks more like a painting than a tattoo… I totally heart it!
