I don’t have any tattoos, but I do know what I’d get if I could work up the courage to get one. I would get baby footprints on the top of my foot. The meaning is two-fold: 1.) My favorite poem is ‘Footprints in the Sand’ and 2.) I am a nurse-midwife so I deliver babies for a living! I think baby footprints going upwards towards my ankle would be sooo cute!

I have a small star on the front of my left shoulder (the “test run”) and a dragon on the back of my right shoulder. It was the one tattoo I *always* wanted but never got, and even though I think I had outgrown wanting it, when the opportunity came up for me to get it, I got it, and immediately afterwards did not want it. I keep considering laser tattoo removal but since I can’t see it, I forget it’s there most of the time and don’t really even think about it.
I’d love that vacuum tho!

no tats for me. although i have participated in many “temporary tat-tuesdays!” those are always fun because you can pick whatever tat you want, and then wash it off the next day! my favorite temporary tats were the crazy ones that came in the pack, like the lawn gnomes.

I plan to get a very small and sweet tattoo to honor my baby girl that I lost and delivered at 22 weeks just this past december. Maybe a small ladybug or daisy, or both! I was given a hand painted keepsake box at the hospital that was painted by ladies who have gone through a similar loss, on the box was a daisy with a small ladybug on it=)

This is for Burger…
I have 3 tattoos and only one of those I regret. ( I believe that is a pretty good percentage!) My favorite tattoo is on my right foot and it reads ” My little dogs…heartbeats at my feet.” It is a summarized version of a quote from the great Edith Wharton. She was not only a brilliant author, she was also an animal rights activist and to me that is a perfect combination.
