I never got a tattoo, as I created my own rule when I was 18, that I would wait 5 years from the date I decided that I wanted a tattoo, to get it, then if I still wanted it I would. Well, I never got one. Apparently I am fickle, so tattoos would be bad for me.

I have five stars on my ankle that represent each of my family members. I once thought it was original, but now see them as a little cliche. Ce la vie! It is better that what I was going to get for my 18th birthday TEN YEARS AGO! I was going to get lip marks on my tush… I was such a rebel -)

TATTOO ME!! Actually it is more like untattoo me! I have many tattoos from self proclaimed “artists” who really turned out to be skin butchers. The only good thing about my tattoos is that they can be covered easily with clothing, and turtle necks are not needed! The tattoos are not my favorite, but I am used to looking at them now. A vaccuum would make them all worth it, or at least ease the remorse a little.

I have a Martin Luther quote that spans my shoulder along with a bird with a bowler hat, smoking a pipe, has wings and suspenders, riding a big wheel bike! Surprisingly enough I get more people wonder why I, a super white guy, would have a Martin Luther “King Jr.” tattoo. Little do they know he is a monk and not the inspirational force behind the Civil Rights movement.

I got a tattoo when I was 18. I’m a little embarrassed to admit it was my boyfriends name. Probably one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made. I have since covered it with a rose that I hate and hope to have it removed someday. Just a subtle reminder of how crazy I was as a teenager.
