And I do have a tattoo, which would be more surprising if you knew me; I am most definitely not a tattoo type gal. I got it when I was 38, and away for an outlet-shopping trip with some buddies in Williamsburg, Virginia. One of my crazy friends got the inking idea, so off we drove in her minivan to the tattoo parlor. It is a shamrock, on the rear of my right hip (that would be my bum), and it has the word “Lucky” in script across it.
When I got home, my husband’s comment was, “Let me see that again. I thought it said, ‘Slutty.'” Thankfully, he did quickly grow to like it, but he is not too keen on me going away for road trips with that gang again.

Serious tattoo I want but probably won’t get: When I was a kid I loved unicorns. I also loved my grandma. She had some scar tissue on the center of her forehead – it was faint but there. Naturally, loving unicorns and my grandma, I surmised that my grandma was a unicorn and that was where her horn was removed, turning her human. I would love to get a unicorn in honor of her, but am afraid it would turn out a bit Lisa Frank-ish.

I have a “tramp stamp”. I got it at 18 years old and in Cancun, Mexico. It is a sun. I love it but hate it. Haha! I plan on getting one sooner than later. I have 3 kids and I want to get 3 different colored hearts (I think purple, green, and blue) for my kids and have them linked together or something like that with each of their initials (E, Z, C) inside the hearts.
