Fab Freebie: The Devil’s In The Details

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

Thanks to the devilish randomization that is random.org, our two winners are… Steph (who was just talking to a colleague about the two tattoos she has…for now) and Alason (who’s thinks her little butterfly tattoo on her back makes people assume she’s a bad girl). Congrats ladies!

Since you guys seemed to enjoy last week’s spring cleaning related giveaway, how about another? Your house can’t possibly be all cleaned up yet can it? This one comes from the folks over at Dirt Devil who are gonna hook two of you up with a tattoo. But you’re not going to disappoint the parental units in this case. The Tattoo is a light-but-powerful canister vacuum that boasts an ornate “tattoo” design on its body, comes in four devilish hues, and includes cool details like an automatic cord rewind feature. You know, so you can suck with style.

Dirt Devil Tattoo

  • PRIZE: A Dirt Devil Fantasy Tattoo series canister vacuum in any color
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TATTOO ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … dish about what tattoo(s) you have, wish you had, wish you didn’t have, or never ever wanted (feel free to share the where and the why too if you’d like).
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 6th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The United States and Canada
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Dirt Devil.

TATTOO ME! I don’t have a tattoo, but if i got one, it would be a tiny dove. Can’t decide on placement, and fear of needles… i don’t think I’ll be getting it anytime soon.

tattoo me! i’ve always wanted a tattoo, but i wanted my father who was an artist to draw something for me. he never got around to it because i don’t think he really wanted me to have a tattoo. i remember when my mom was cleaning out my dad’s stuff, she found a drawing. that drawing would make a great tattoo.

    TATTOO ME!

I don’t have any tattoos and don’t plan on getting any … but if I were to ever get drunk in Vegas and wake up with a tattoo, I’d like for it to be a nerdy typographic/graphic designer tattoo: “Lorem Ipsum” in one of my favorite fonts.

    Tattoo Me!
I have an egyptian ankh on my shoulder blade with the 4 elements incorporated into it.
I’ve also considered a full back piece with a goddess emerging from the ocean however that will have to wait a LONG time. My father didn’t speak to me for 6 months after my tiny shoulder tat so I’m sure the full back piece would cause him to never talk to me again.

    TATTOO ME!

Over the years I’ve wanted so many tattoos. It started small– a heart on my ankle, a lizard on my hip– but got bigger and bigger– a sleeve! a chest piece! my entire side! Doodles and drawings, myths or monsters, lovers and quotes, I wanted it all. But which one would I get first? Cherry blossoms cascading down my side? No, too cliché. An octopus creeping up my arm? No, too trendy. A quote from my favorite author? Too direct. It needed to be unique, edge-y, clever. It needed to represent who I am in a single image. It needed to scream “This is me! I’m in your face! I am awesome!”

Nothing ever suited me. Nothing worked. No design. No artist’s style. Nothing fit.

And then I realized it. A tattoo on me will never work. It’ll never look right. I’ll never be happy with it. Because I’m perfect unaltered. I’m unique and edge-y and clever. No one image will be able to enhance or detract from who I am. And you know what? I’m really diggin’ the tattoo-less me.

(Plus, I’m scared of needles! :P)

    “TATOO ME”
A constant point of debate in my mind. I love ink. Words. Art. Being different. Problem: 1. I am indecisive and 2. I am constantly changing my mind. So at present there are no tatoos. For future, who knows.
