In the Spring of 2008 I saw an Eero Saarinen exhibit at the Walker Museum of Art in the Twin Cities. This was my first exposure to the designer/architect. I appreciate Eero’s roundedness, as an artist. He contributes to all facets of the design process: from the architecturial construction of some of today’s most iconic American corporation’s headquarters, to the modern decor that completes their interior space.
His approach to design lures me in. His take on design is creative, aesthecially pleasing, and undeniably functional. My hat goes off to you, Eero. Four years ago you opened my eyes to the world of design. And for that I am forever grateful.
