That’s enough to choose practically anything from their catalog of iconic furniture pieces from award-winning designers. And even if you don’t score the grand prize, they’re offering up a discount to everyone that could save you some serious dough on that statement piece that you’ve been pining for. I admire Eero Saarinen mostly as an architect, but his MCM furniture designs really did break the mold (ha ha, molded plastic). My favorite would have to be Wendell Castle- I LOVE the organic, natural wood forms; reminds me of a modernized art nouveau style. *So pretty!*

I don’t have a classic designer. My dad was a woodworking teacher. My parents couldn’t afford good furniture, so my dad made it. I designed my first dresser when I was around 11. I think my dads approach to furniture stuck with me. If it is made well and functions well, everything else is gravy.
