I love the Eames Louge Chair. My dad had one of the original rosewood ones with black leather. It was worn in and comfortable and whenever I see one I think of him and can smell the tabacco he smoked in his pipe when he sat in it. My dad passes away 15 years ago. My mom gave the chair away at some point. ARGHHHHH!!!!! (My mom is a pack rat and managed to keep every check she ever wrote since she was 16, but gave away an original Eames Lounge Chair!)

MILLER ME! I’m 22 and I’m not familiar with many designers. It wasn’t until I started looking at blogs that I realized there was more to life than ikea. I have fallen in love with the Eames chair and I would love to have one in my apartment (as my first piece of “adult” furniture and as an investment piece i can have for many years).

MILLER ME, PLEASE! i would die to have an origianl richard avedon portrait – he’s style is so clean and truthful… and he printed his images so huge, you can’t see one and not feel totally engulfed by his subject. oh yeah, and i would really super duper love to have an eames chair (or 10) in our home! :)
