This post/freebie comes at such a time… We are selling my mother’s childhood home. It was built in the 1950’s and was featured in architectural digest in 1956. My grandmother had fantastic taste and outfitted the home not only in custom cabinetry and beautiful stain glass installations, but also with Eames. At the kitchen table. Oh, the Eames… Long story short, the Eames chairs “disappeared” one year. (Yes, this story DOES involve a crazy aunt! How’d you guess?!?) I would love to be able to buy some of my own Eames and would probably give it to my mom. She’s heartbroken about having to sell her childhood home…
