I would have to say that Dieter Rams has been a huge influence on my life and the way I appreciate minimalism. His “less is more” ethos influenced an entire generation of designers, including Apple’s Jonathan Ive. The proof is in the pudding:

Anything Eames in my house would make me so so happy. Aluminum group, lounger, fiberglass chair … The Eameses are the most iconic designers and it still amazes me how classic their pieces look 60+ years later. To me, that is the hallmark of great design.
