I love MCM design. I’ve always liked Heywood Wakefield, of course and I’ve always wanted an Eames chair. I also started collecting Iroquois china in college, picking up a piece here or there as I could afford it (not much!) My favorite is a pattern that designer Ben Seibel did for them called Pyramids.

I love most anything Mid-Century. My wife and I often visit select antique stores that have a few mid-century vendors to see if there is anything we can snag. I am a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, even if he was a little narcissistic (I may even love him a little more because of it). And, I definitely would not turn down a Warhol.

Miller me! =) After taking AP Art History in high school, I’d been introduced to so many amazing artists and architects I’d never heard of before. Of the hundreds I studied, definitely the sleek, nature-loving designs from Frank Lloyd Wright and paintings from Jacques-Louis David and J.M.W. Turner were among my favorites, and which stick in my memory even now.

Oh man, I am trying to stop myself from swearing, because expletives jumped into my brain the second I saw this post. I know it’s kind of cliche to be all “oh, well, Frank Lloyd Wright, obvs” but it’s true, I would faint at the thought of a hardcore repro sitting in our house.
