I’m a sucker for a classic fiberglass rocker, in a nice clean white. Charles and Ray Eames were incredibly innovative, not only in furniture design, but also in philosophy. Their documentary, Powers of Ten, is a must watch!

I’m not in the know of classic designers, etc … but my parents did have two Eames leather lounge chairs that, as kids we LOVED spinning in them … when we were allowed to enter the “white room”. They now sit, worn and broken (one day to be fixed). And I now have a better appreciation of them.

Dale Chihuly’s sculptural glass pieces are incendiary. I would love to have some of his glass work hung above my mantle with a track light setting the whole piece aglow. Or even have one of his chandeliers above a table.
