I have been obsessed with Charles & Ray Eames ever since I laid eyes on the Eames Lounge Chair Fraiser had in the background of his Seattle apartment. I already have one of their rocking chairs, so a real deal lounge chair or a set of DCM’s would pretty much make my life.

I’ve slobbered all over these chairs for years and think I would need a bib if our now empty dining room was full of Eames chairs (cheesy pun INTENDED).
I’m a fan of mixing mid-modern with craftsman: if Van Der Rohe and Wright could have a baby (there’s an app for that, right?), I would adopt it and looove it.

My personal fav is Eva Zeisel, who just died at the end of 2011 at 105. She was still working on new collaborations with young designers, and she is my career idol! I love that she considered herself a “maker of useful things” and continued working throughout her life.
