POP ME! We take a lot of pictures. My favorite summer picture, still not sure how it happened or how to repeat it. I got a picture of my two, age 4 and 2 out in the flower bed, both looking towards the camera, happy, smiling (grinning really), looking like their natural fun loving selves (as opposed to being forced to take a picture) in cute, clean, coordinated outfits. The coordinated outfits were an accident. Although they always start off clean and tidy having both that way at the same time is somewhat miraculous these days. The perfect grandparent picture that was promptly framed and delivered to many ohhs and ahhs.

My favorite picture is an oldie, but I still stare it for hours on hand, wondering….
It was taken in Nigeria, and it’s of a man dressed in a tribal-costume, feathers, straw skits, the whole nine yards. What makes me wonder is that instead of the date it says I LOVE YOU in orange type-script letters. My boyfriend at the time snapped that shot and he refused to tell me how he changed the date to include this cute message… obviously this was well before digital cameras… I still wonder :)
