Bliss is drinking tea and looking at magazines on the couch while my daughter sings and plays with her dollhouse. When she’s playing and unaware of me, she keeps up a steady stream of sung dialogue between her dollhouse dolls. It’s the lovely background noise of my most relaxing time.

My idea of bliss is Saturday morning at my house. My 9 year old son comes into our bedroom while my husband and I are still asleep. He climbs into bed, snuggles up against me, and falls back asleep in my arms. The rest of the week, we’re up early for school and there’s such a rush of activity, I’m lucky to get a kiss as they’re running out the door.
