My kitchen has a hexagonal nook off it. I love sitting at the table in the nook when the weather is nice and the sun is out with my husband. Doesn’t matter what we are doing – eating, on our computers, paying bills, whatever. It is my favorite place to be.

When I was a younger Mom my favorite thing in the world was after the kids (and hubby) had gone to bed I’d curl up in the oversize corner chair with a book and a cup of hot tea. It was so relaxing and time for just ‘me’.
Now that the kids are teens…to be honest: Sheer bliss is just dropping into bed each night!
