Fab Freebie: A Cultivated Kitchen

Sorry for the hit-and-miss quiz taking y’all. Apparently you guys enjoy a good quiz as much as we do! Anyways, the lucky (random) winner this week is… Kate Bateman (who was able to get a quiz result and said her “Traditional” diagnosis was almost spot on). Congrats!

I bet most of you guys spent a fair amount of time in the kitchen over the last few days, and if it had you yearning to make some changes in there, you’ve stumbled onto the right giveaway. The folks behind some of our favorite stores (West Elm, Williams-Sonoma, and Pottery Barn) have a sister site chock full of kitchen inspiration called Cultivate. In addition to photo galleries, expert advice, and a blog, they’ve also got one of our favorite ways to kill a few minutes: a Find Your Style quiz. Just pick your favorite between 10 pairs of photos and get ready for your diagnosis. And to help you put your kitchen prescription into action, they’re giving one of you a $200 gift card to use at Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, or West Elm. Sweet. Update: We hear the quiz is still running very slowly/crashing. Looks like Cultivate wasn’t quite ready for all of you quiz-loving folks. So sorry about that, guys!

    Cultivate Me!

    I got transitional style. It didn’t surprise me because I have noticed I really lean towards that (when its actually labeled as a specific style anyway.) It is just a balance between modern and traditional and mostly I think I am attracted to “warm” spaces with a lot of light and a clean look.

    CULTIVATE ME!!! Yeah, their site keeps crashing, probably because y’all have such a popular blog and have sent so many people their way! My ideal kitchen would be a cozy and comfortable mix of modern and classic. A lot like what you guys created for yourselves!

    CULTIVATE ME!

    It wouldn’t load, but I’ll be back tomorrow AM to try again b/c I am so curious. As a mother to seven, I am always drawing out the best functioning kitchen for our family…but I’m never sure. Not that my best functioning home is in the works nor am I ungrateful for what I/we have, but it is fun to dream and design!

    I wasn’t able to get the quiz to work, but I know that I love white kitchens! I’m trying to work up the courage to take the plunge and paint my cabinets white.

    Cultivate me! Love these types of quizzes, but I get just a little bit put off by something in one pic and then I get confused as to which one to choose! And at 4:15pm est, site is still down :(
