I bet most of you guys spent a fair amount of time in the kitchen over the last few days, and if it had you yearning to make some changes in there, you’ve stumbled onto the right giveaway. My kitchen is “school bus yellow” (according to my husband)with purple and sage accents. I love it and need the color in my west facing kitchen in upstate New York. But it could use some sprucing up !!!!!!!!!

The Cultivate Quiz says I’m Contemporary and that kind of shocked me. Yes I love a clean kitchen but I love my slate floors and chandeliers mixed with some glass front cabinets and stainless appliances. I also have mixed up art in my Kitchen so Transitional probably doesn’t describe me either….maybe I’m a KITCHEN FREAK! :-)

I got traditional, and I guess that’s where the majority of my interest would be. We have a very old house that we are remodeling, and it’s kind of hard not to lean in the traditional direction…though I think I would mix it up with some more country charm than the example photos I saw for traditional.
