After quite a color-filled few days here on YHL, random.org has selected our winner as… Daffodil (whose kitchen gets almost zero natural light, so she painted it a cheerful bright yellow). Congrats! And I think we have an idea of what color sink you might be choosing…
Jonathan Adler has been a big inspiration to us lately, especially as we learn to embrace more color in this house than our first one. And as excited as we were by his new color-filled collaboration with Kohler, we were even MORE excited when Kohler agreed to give one of you a new kitchen sink and faucet to the tune of nearly $3,000 in value. So what’ll it be? Do you want the poppy yellow apron sink for your kitchen? A cool aqua double-sink for your basement wet bar? Or maybe a deep single sink in navy? The choice is all yours.
And since a sink isn’t much good without a faucet, Kohler’s gonna let you choose from three of their favorite styles in any available finish: the Purist, the Cruette, or the Simplice. Whatever choice you make, something tells me that doing dishes is going to be a lot cheerier around someone’s house very soon…
- PRIZE: A new kitchen sink from the Kohler Colors Featuring Jonathan Adler collection, plus a new faucet. A potential prize value of nearly $3,000!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADLER ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how are you currently bringing color into your kitchen? Did you pick a bold paint color for the walls? Do you like a vase of fresh flowers on the counter? Or do you often find that the most colorful thing in your kitchen is your latest culinary creation?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, July 25th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kohler.

My husband and I are planning on painting our kitchen this summer. A medium dark green color is what we have in mind. A new sink and faucet would be fabulous!!!!!

ADLER ME! My wife and I have been trying to liven up each room in the house with little pops of color since there’s so much natural wood everywhere. First off is the yellow potholder/oven mitt my wife got from target. Next is our awesome red kitchen aid mixer that my mother in law gave us, and last is the ball mason jar I try to keep filled with the flowers I give to the wifey on as regular basis as possible… ;) Although I’m sure the sink we could win would be an awesome color addition!

ADLER ME! I added pops of blue to my white and espresso kitchen by chosing a bold white and blue granite and accessorizing with blue accents through a dramatic blue/gray wall and silver and blue art. The combination of a blue sink would be amazing and add to the drama. I love having a kitchen that makes me go “ahhhh” when I’m cooking.

Adler Me! We are in the process of updating our kitchen, eventually…….things seem to have stalled a bit, but we will get there. Currently the color that pops the most in our kitchen is the green dishes in different tints, tones, and shades. Thanks for this great opportunity!

I have a giant 76 American flag hanging on the wall in my kitchen, which adds color and sets the tone for our vintage-y, country home.

Thank you so much John and Sherry and Kohler for this amazing prize. After extensive debating/mind-changing/considering, my husband and I have decided to use the Piccadilly Yellow as the inspiration for a whole new kitchen. When we moved into our house 7 years ago, we thought the kitchen was fine. But as we have lived in it and used it, we have lots of ideas of things that don’t work as well for us as we should. We are dipping our toes in the color pool, and I think having a bright happy color in the sink is such a fun way to introduce it in our kitchen. Thank you for giving us the chance to have a special, unique, fun kitchen and for the push we needed to get started.
