Fab Freebie: We Need To Address Something
*** This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below! ***
Sorry for the late winner announcements. Blame the tryptophan. And before we share the name of the winner random.org selected, don’t forget that The Paper Cafe is still offering 15% off discount (details at bottom of this post). But more importantly, our winner is… Maria (who is sending holiday cards with an adorable picture of her 5 month old daughter in it). Congrats!
This week’s prize includes a custom address stamper from The Paper Cafe and Three Designing Women. Sherry actually bought me one last Christmas to celebrate being at our new address, and it certainly made writing and addressing thank you cards (and every letter, bill, and card since then) much faster. But this week’s winner is getting a lot more than just one address stamper, they’ll score a ton of the goodies that you see below (like a custom stamp gift set, a set of 3 monogram stamp designs, 4 additional colored ink pads, as well as a bunch of coordinating gift tags, note cards, and notepads) along with a few goodies that aren’t pictured below, like a custom stamp gift certificate to give a stamp set to someone else (so you can cross stamp them off the ol’ Christmas gift list).

- PRIZE: A gift package from The Paper Cafe and Three Designing Women valued at over $150, including a custom stamp gift set, a custom stamp gift certificate, a set of 3 monogram stamp designs, 4 additional colored ink pads and additional gift tags, note cards and notepads.
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADDRESS ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: …what your holiday card plans are this year? Do you go all out and stage a family photoshoot? Just send out a cute card with a snowflake or a reindeer on it? Type up a newsletter? Send an e-card? Or just pass on the holiday card thing?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, November 23rd at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States of America (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: Get 15% off custom stamps, colored ink pads, photo stamps, stamp gift sets, stamp gift certificates, and embossers with the code YHL-15OFF-TDW
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday (okay, maybe Friday this week) as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday or Friday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Paper Cafe and Three Designing Women.

ADDRESS ME!!!!
the last two years i did family photo cards from snapfish. the first year was just some cute shots of the kids, and last year we actually had family photos that had gotten done so we used those. while i love those i might have to pass due to budget, will probably just send a snap or two of the kids to the imeadiate family and reg cards to everyone else :)
ADDRESS ME! We are in the process of buying a house and the closing date will be around Christmas time. So, our cards will include the usual holiday greetings but also our new address!!!
ADDRESS ME!
We do a family picture and usually a one-page year update on the fam.
ADDRESS ME.
We live in Colorado and this year the fall colors were amazing. We went and got our pictures taken near Boulder. We will be using that for holiday cards.
ADDRESS ME! My fiance is returning from deployment right before Christmas so I had planned to send out Christmas cards with a homecoming picture on them. However, I just found out that they will be coming home in their ugliest uniforms so now I either need a new plan or to recreate the homecoming in his everyday uniform!
ADDRESS ME!
I make our cards and feature a recent picture I took of my husband/our nephews/our dog etc enjoying some winter time fun. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen even a flurry in my neck of the woods and that makes it a wee bit difficult to capture a holiday worthy moment on film.
Address Me!
We are still trying to get our thank you notes out the door from our wedding, so holiday cards are likely to pull double-duty this year.
Address me!!! This is the first year we’re sending anything… & we’ll use it to send a SAVE THE DATE <3! So excited :)
ADDRESS ME! It will be our baby’s 1st Christmas! We are celebrating with family!
Address me!
We’re planning to send out a card with our new home on it. Cheers to joining the DIY squad (even if we are staring down a gutted bathroom) ;)
ADDRESS ME!
Last year we opted for eco friendly email cards. This year we’re doing a combo of e-cards and snapfish cards with family photos we took for our son’s 4th birthday in July.
Address Me! I have a feeling I will be slacking on Christmas cards this year….
address me!
We are closing on our first house next week and I need some stocking stuffers (for myself of course).
Address Me! Designing our own card this year!
Address me! No cards this year! But love getting them in the mail! Hopefully next year we will send them out again!
Address Me!!
Just some simple cards for the holidays this year!
ADDRESS ME!
After a lifetime of handing writing all my Christmas cards (over 300), I’m joining the ranks of the “photo card” this year. We had our first baby in August, so we figure it is a great way to kill two birds with one stone: get out some updated pictures since his birth announcement, and send our holiday greetings. Having a personalized stamper would save even more time! :)
ADDRESS ME!! I ordered some cute cards off Etsy this year, can’t wait to send them out!
ADDRESS ME!
We didn’t do family photos this year, so I’ll just do the boxed-card thing with personal notes.
ADDRESS ME! but we probably won’t be sending cards this year :(
ADDRESS ME!!!
We have a close friend who is a photographer and she does a family photoshoot for us every year, and then designs us a custom Christmas card using shots from the photoshoot.
Address me! I bought my holiday cards last year on clearance…
ADDRESS ME!
We send out a card with a few cute pictures from throughout the year. These would be perfect as we just bought our first home!
ADDRESS ME!
We try hard to stage a good picture for cards…it’s not easy with 3 little ones!
ADDRESS MEEEE
Address me!
Family picture (taken on our 34th anniversary)
on a card. We’ve gone from just the two of us
to now ten of us in our immediate family.
ADDRESS ME! No Christmas card this year… waiting until we buy our first house post-holidays! We’ll send a new address/new year card instead
ADDRESS ME!!
We send a picture card with our girls on it. We are headed to Disney, so this years card will have a Disney background.
ADDRESS ME!!
We stuff everybody and two dogs into 1 car and drive up the mountain to cut down our Christmas tree!!
ADDRESS ME!!
We will attempt to wrangle 3 rowdy boys, keep them neat and clean, get them to stand together and look in the same direction, repeatedly tell them to stop giving each other “bunny ears”, try to get them to smile without making a goofy face. FAIL. REPEAT.
ADDRESS ME…usually just handwritten cards for me. BUT…my sis and bro-in-law need an address stamp for their cards – so this would be the perfect christmas present :)
ADDRESS ME!
This year we’re only sending out a few Christmas cards that will be handmade by us!
ADDRESS ME!
After several years of buying and even preparing them, but missing the boat, we (shamefacedly) pass on the holiday card thing… Maybe this season we’ll try again!
ADDRESS ME!
We did our first photo cards this year with three pics of our 7 month old daughter. We went with a blue with snowflakes that says, “Happy Holidays”. We didn’t want anything too specific b/c my husband’s side of the family celebrates Hanukkah, & my side celebrates Christmas :)
ADDRESS ME!!! I like sending and receiving photo cards each year to see how people have changed.
ADDRESS ME!
BONUS QUESTION: hoping people don’t notice we didn’t send one and then forget when they get our baby announcement.
Address me! Depending on how our family photos come out we’ll be sending a family shot or just one of the kids:)
ADDRESS ME!
I take my girls’ yearly pictures, and we’ll probably use those for a card instead of trying to wrangle the 4 of us into a single photo. :) This is such a great giveaway!
ADDRESS ME!
We did one of those picture Christmas cards you can custom design as walgreens last year..they turned out so well we plan to do the same this year!
ADDRESS ME!
We are not doing Christmas cards this year…maybe next? Just didn’t seem high on the priority list.
ADDRESS ME!
I am sending out a photo card of my daughter.
ADDRESS ME!
We’re having a big, happy Polish Christmas with lots of singing of Christmas carols! Oh, and my sister is coming to visit so I’m excited!
oops, didn’t leave the right entry ;p we’re sending out photo cards just like we do every year…but have to figure out how to include the baby bump!
“ADDRESS ME!”
We haven’t sent Christmas cards in years and years. Maybe this is the year to change all that!
ADDRESS ME!
We are sending out cards this year! I posed the boys with Christmas lights wrapped around them and put them on a photo card! It turned out so cute! Plus this year we added a little typed note that said that we were expecting baby number 3 due May 23rd, 2012!
ADDRESS ME!
It’s more than a month until Christmas — I have no idea what we’ll do! :)
ADDRESS ME!!
BONUS QUESTION: We having family pictures taken this week and we’ll do some sort of family photo card. Something about receiving snail mail at the holidays just seems so cozy and cheerful.
ADDRESS ME! Always a picture of my boys on our cards…usually something funny. Last year we were a mariachi band!
ADDRESS ME!
I already did one Xmas photoshoot with my 2 kids that turned out not-so-hot. Now they need to get all snazzed up again for take two! Then it’s on to Mixbook.com to use my Groupon for photocards!
ADDRESS ME!!
I don’t send out holiday cards but I love writing letters. I also send out plenty of bills where a stamp would be useful.
ADDRESS ME!!
We did a family shoot in the backyard of our new home with our new dog, Fred the Beagle. Our Christmas cards is also our “we’ve moved” cards, so we thought it was appropriate that we take our photo at the new place, but since the insides under total renovation, the backyard was our best option!
