Fab Freebie: We Need To Address Something
*** This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below! ***
Sorry for the late winner announcements. Blame the tryptophan. And before we share the name of the winner random.org selected, don’t forget that The Paper Cafe is still offering 15% off discount (details at bottom of this post). But more importantly, our winner is… Maria (who is sending holiday cards with an adorable picture of her 5 month old daughter in it). Congrats!
This week’s prize includes a custom address stamper from The Paper Cafe and Three Designing Women. Sherry actually bought me one last Christmas to celebrate being at our new address, and it certainly made writing and addressing thank you cards (and every letter, bill, and card since then) much faster. But this week’s winner is getting a lot more than just one address stamper, they’ll score a ton of the goodies that you see below (like a custom stamp gift set, a set of 3 monogram stamp designs, 4 additional colored ink pads, as well as a bunch of coordinating gift tags, note cards, and notepads) along with a few goodies that aren’t pictured below, like a custom stamp gift certificate to give a stamp set to someone else (so you can cross stamp them off the ol’ Christmas gift list).

- PRIZE: A gift package from The Paper Cafe and Three Designing Women valued at over $150, including a custom stamp gift set, a custom stamp gift certificate, a set of 3 monogram stamp designs, 4 additional colored ink pads and additional gift tags, note cards and notepads.
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “ADDRESS ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: …what your holiday card plans are this year? Do you go all out and stage a family photoshoot? Just send out a cute card with a snowflake or a reindeer on it? Type up a newsletter? Send an e-card? Or just pass on the holiday card thing?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, November 23rd at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States of America (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: Get 15% off custom stamps, colored ink pads, photo stamps, stamp gift sets, stamp gift certificates, and embossers with the code YHL-15OFF-TDW
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday (okay, maybe Friday this week) as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday or Friday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Paper Cafe and Three Designing Women.

ADDRESS ME!
ADDRESS ME!
we too are passing on cards this year
ADDRESS ME! No holiday cards yet — I talk to the people that I would send them to regularly, and with no children or any major news, I don’t see the point…
ADDRESS ME!
We had our Christmas Card photo shoot yesterday and it was a little challenging with a 2 and 4 year old. I think we may have 1 usable one…maybe!
ADDRESS ME This is our first year as a married couple, so it would be really fun to do a first Christmas card and use a super cute custom stamp.
ADDRESS ME!
Some years I send cards, some years I do not. If I do send cards, they are usually Christmas cards that I buy in Germany, or the cheap, simple ones from here in the US.
ADDRESS ME!
We used a photo I took last year of a Christmas wreath hanging on my in-laws very rustic garage door. The card actually includes our new address since we just moved into our first house!
address me, please.
I love Christmas cards. I love to receive and display the ones I receive, and I enjoy sending them. I just wish it wasn’t so pricey. I’ve done everything from e-cards, newsletters, and even store-bought cards (which are my least favorite, I have to admit.) This year, there’s a family photo and a newsletter in the works.
ADDRESS ME!!!
This year we plan to send out postcards with the kiddos pics on them. Merry Christmas!
ADDRESS ME!
I will make the usual holiday photo year-in-review montage. Very fun. We will have the matching outfits Christmas picture on there, too. No newsletter, a picture is worth a thousand words and our card will include 20 or more photos. It is a 13 year tradition and by now, “THE card” has a cult following.
If I win, we’ll add you to the list!
ADDRESS ME!
I always have grand plans for Christmas cards…tacky sweaters, antlers on the cat, etc. But it’s yet to happen. Much to the cat’s satisfaction.
Address me! Just ordered some really snazzy cards from Minted!
ADDRESS ME!!!
I’ve skipped sending out cards for the last couple of years. Maybe if I win this I’ll start sending them again.
ADDRESS ME! My husband is a photographer, and we always make custom photo cards from our favorite 10 pictures of our adventures from the previous year.
ADDRESS ME!
I would definitely use these to send my holiday cards, invites for new years eve, and probably thank you notes after Christmas and my birthday — it’s a month of stationary!
ADDRESS ME!
I love to buy cute Christmas cards after the season is over (el cheapo here). I often forget to send them until it’s too late… whoops!
ADDRESS ME!
Living in NYC I have moved 4 times in 3 years all to apartments the size of postage stamps. Finally in an apartment I can hopefully call home for a few years :)
Adress me….Still need to get those cards out!
“ADDRESS ME!”
We usually do pics of just our young kids b/c they are a lot cuter than my husband and me, but this year we might venture in too.
ADDRESS ME!
Beautiful, I love paper and all that stuff! Christmas cards with a picture of the kids
ADDRESS ME! Family picture as always :)
ADDRESS ME!
No cards this year. Sent them last year and just sent out “we’ve moved” cards! The pocket book is tight
ADDRESS ME!
Every year we stage a big family photo that has been getting harder and harder to actually stage. With family members scattered across the country and around the world, photoshop has started to become our best friend; who would have known that my sister, who is a nun, would be stuck in London studying costume-making, and my brother would be in Florida? I love looking at our cards from year to year and watching our family grow (2 new babies) and change, (a little chihuahua pup to round out our motley crew). Christmas cards are a wonderful way of documenting our growth and reflecting on all that has happened in the past year.
ADDRESS ME!! Our family sends out a photo card with a collage of photos of our son taken throughout the year so everyone can see how much he’s grown.
ADDRESS ME!
We do cute generic Christmas cards.
ADDRESS ME!
I am toying with the idea of painting my own cards to send out, based on something on the Martha Stewart website, but…we’ll see if I have the energy to follow through!
Address me! We do the family photo card. :)
ADDRESS ME!
Photoshoot time…I love sending out holiday cards with pictures and receiving them as well!
ADDRESS ME! So so fun…sending out and receiving Christmas cards are the most fun for me at Christmas! I can’t wait for the mail to come each day hoping we will have a new card to display in our kitchen, they make my heart happy! we will be celebrating our 2nd Christmas in our home with our 2 little guys and watching their faces light up bc Santa came! Then we see both our families and end the weekend at the lake watching our favorite rival football game. I did a photo colage this year and put our 6 month olds annoucement on there too so Im anxious to see how they turned out! fun fun!
ADDRESS ME :)
We love doing the family photo shoot with our baby girl (born just 2 weeks before Clara)! Though last year’s shot with the Rockies in the background will be hard to top this year! Maybe a cute address stamp will make up for it?
ADDRESS ME!
I have been looking at these anyhow since we moved last year and are getting married next year! I decided not to do a card until we are married so our first holiday card can be “greetings from the (insert my soon to be last name here).
ADDRESS ME!! We have a holiday tradition of sending out ridiculous Photo Christmas Cards. Last year I took a ridiculous wedding photo and photo-shopped santa hats onto us and put mistletoe in the background.
ADDRESS ME!
I still haven’t figured out the holiday card sitch… better get on that, huh? :)
ADDRESS ME! We will be sending out holiday cards with an adorable picture of my five month old daughter in it!
“Address me!!”
We got family pictures done in the fall and we are just going to send out the one we like best of our boys for Christmas!
Address me!!
Yeah, my cards will probably end up going out in March sometime! If at all! LOL
ADDRESS ME! I, unfortunately, do not send out holiday cards. I imagine I will once I start a family.
Address me! No christmas card plans…maybe in a few years I’ll get around to it!
ADDRESS ME!
I still want to design our own with a picture but we’re sort of running out of time… may just order something… but either way I want to print our names on them because I’m sick of hand-writing every card! It’s proper etiquette to sign each and every one but last year almost none of the cards we received had any handwriting on them at all so whatever.
It’ll all be much easier next year when we’ve got a cute little someone to star on it!
ADDRESS ME!
I try and hand write cards and some years I am more successful than others. We got married this year so I am still trying to write thank-yous. So I am not sure I will get holiday cards out this year or focus all my resources on wedding thank yous.
ADDRESS ME!
haven’t decided what to do yet, last year i sent an e-card that i designed.
ADDRESS ME!
My husband and I had big plans to send out our first ever holiday cards this year, but we never got around to taking the pictures! We may still get our act together to send a generic card though, especially if we had a fun stamp for all the return addresses!
Address Me!!
We send out New Years cards every year that have pictures/highlights from the year before. It’s less stressful than trying to get them out w everything else that must be done throughout the season!! :)
Address Me!
Every year I say I’m going to create my own holiday cards to send out, and every year I leave it to the last minute and end up not sending anything. Maybe this year?? (Famous. Last. Words.)
ADDRESS ME… We always do a few favorite pictures in a collage for a christmas, new year card!
ADDRESS ME!
I think we might just send out our very first newsletter. It’s our first year of marriage & we have too much to say!
ADDRESS ME! I would like to send out an ecard/newsletter but we’ll see if I get around to writing it.
Address me! We pull together a montage of our activities from the year to create a photo card.
ADDRESS ME!
I usually work with a vendor on Etsy to design a holiday card with a picture of my son.
My cards just arrived today, ready to be stuffed and addressed! I send the usual kid photo. Kinda boring but the relatives love it.
