Sherry actually bought me one last Christmas to celebrate being at our new address, and it certainly made writing and addressing thank you cards (and every letter, bill, and card since then) much faster. “ADDRESS ME!” I usually send out cutesy Christmas cards, although if I could afford it, I would definitely get the custom made Rifle Paper Co. holiday cards with my family portrait on them! I love fancy papers and stamps, I just can’t always afford them!

This year our holiday cards will be birth announcements as well! Our little man is due next week and as soon as I can get a few good pics I’ll create our cards myself and get them in the mail. It may be a belated Christmas, but this little guy will be worth the wait!

We may be skipping holiday cards this year to save $. Normally we do family photos and photo cards. Family photos are still in place, cards to be determined. This stamp giveaway would be awesome and would seal the deal for doing cards.

we’re typically not overachievers in any category, but one thing we’ve always done is send out handwritten christmas cards. i think it’s our “thing” now – everyone wants to know what this year’s card will look like, and we love the personalization of writing to our closest family and friends.

I just got married and we bought our first house. We also just adopted our first dog. So we are taking our frist Christmas card photo with the two us, our two cats Colby and Dash and the new dog Vance. So basically it’s a Christmas card season of firsts :)

I usually buy or make a fantastic card and write a personal note to everyone, my husband LOVES a newsletter, so he creates that which is funny and wacky and we put that with my traditional card. My plans are to get 5 year (dating) anniversary pictures done and use them for Christmas Cards. I’m afraid that we might be too late to get professional pics done but maybe we can use an old pic of us or have a friend take a few and do it that way. We’ll see!!!

We are planning to have some professional Christmas photos taken with our dog, then have the cards printed with some of the best photos included in the design. I’m really excited – we attempted to do this last year but tragically lost our dog in late fall and didn’t have the heart to send out sad Christmas cards. This year’s cards will be awesome!

I love holiday cards, so even though I’m single with no kids, I’ve sent out cards for the past few years so that none of my friends take me off their mailing lists. It might be a generic card this year, but I’m not ruling out something creative/unique yet!
