Sayin’ Thanks… That Summer Ain’t Quite Over

**Psst- We know most Fridays we just post once, but today we’ll be back in a few hours with an update on how we upgraded our new office file storage. Who’s excited?

Yup, it’s time again for our monthly sponsor shout out (you know, to thank the folks who make our other 30-some posts possible). But does the fact that August is here mean summer’s almost over? Say it ain’t so! So we’re using this month’s thank you to remind ourselves to embrace the warm weather while it’s here. Most of the items below caught our eye because they make us want to be outside, bring the outdoors in, or otherwise bask in the summery goodness while it lasts. Not that we’ve been gifted anything (here’s our no-swag policy). And of course there are special discounts listed at the end of this post for all of you deal-lovers. Happy Friday, y’all!

Funny how you are saying this today, because as I walked outside this morning, I was actually chilly. It was only about 64 here in NY this morning! I know that doesn’t seem cold but, it just made me realize the warm weather is dwindling. Hopefully it stays a little warmer a little longer for you guys down there. :)

Also, thanks for the coupon codes!

I’ve been brainstorming ideas for Halloween as well and my hubby thinks it’s too early…it’ll be here before we know it! I’m thinking of putting my little one (also a walker this year) in a sushi costume…he’ll be looking like a nice piece of salmon on a bed of rice! Homemade, cheap, and cute, perfect for me! I’m thinking of making my hubby wear a sushi chef hat too, he’ll LOVE that!!! LOL Anyway, glad I’m not the only one with Halloween on the brain.

Oh man, do we beg. Haha. They’ve actually offered discounts in the past, but right now they’re sadly not running one. Here’s hoping they will again soon though!

You know, I just wanted to let you guys know that I love your blog so much and I have such respect for the immense amount of hard work you put into it that I deliberately click on the ads you feature on the site so you can get more revenue. To use $herdog’s words: “Hope it helps!”
