It’s Already Time To Say Thanks Again?
**Psst- We know most Fridays we just post once, but today we’ll be back in a few hours with one of Sherry’s latest DIY undertakings. And it has to do with pillows. Nobody’s surprised, right?
July totally snuck up on us (where did June go?), which means that it’s once again time for our monthly thank you to our sponsors for keeping this ol’ blog up and running – and making our other 30-some posts possible. So picture us breaking out some leftover sparklers and writing “Thank You” in the air to everyone listed below (and to all of you at home who care to drop in on us too). As always, we’re sharing specific items that caught our eyes (and fulfilled our current craving for red, white, and blue). Not that we’ve been gifted anything (here’s our no-swag policy). And of course there are special discounts listed at the end of this post for all of you deal-loving mamma jammas. Happy Friday, y’all!

Everytime I see anything with the damask pattern, I so want to splurge on a stencil and go after a wall in the family room.
Ahem, anyhoo – thanks to your sponsors for the discounts!
Love the subway tile backsplash. I can’t wait to see what you do with the kitchen next!
We like posts like this….because without them…..YHL would not BE!!!
Have a nice weekend!!!

“Sherry just fainted.” <—- Freakin' hilarious.
OMG OMG OMG. I want that Wall Quotes chandelier. I’ve been trying to convince my boyfriend that chandelier + bedroom = fabulous and he’s totally not buying it. Maybe a decal would convince him? A 15% off decal?? Thank you for the discount!
I just bought a 1940′s flag with 48 stars last weekend from a great little thrift store called the Awesome Possum. I’m planning on putting it above my teenager’s bed (once it’s framed).
You can see it here: http://honeysuckleonthevine.blogspot.com/2011/07/vacation-project-4.html
So cool! I never knew those old flags were even available without being a thousand bucks! They just seem so rare and cool!

Just linked to Freshline on Etsy and found out she is in my hometown!!! Small world! Now I have about 5 of her items on my Etsy wishlist.
I may have to purchase that lovely vintage inspired tablecloth; that would have been perfect for my 4th of July table setting.
That’s great. Love it. Thanks for the discount.
oh, sweet baby toys. not that i have a baby. but i could have one someday soon…
Can’t wait to see your pillow post later today! By the way, mentioned you in the bottom of this post (along with a pic of the Ikat pillow that matches your curtains, LOL).

Last month, I used your code for Royal Design Studio (I chose this one http://www.royaldesignstudio.com/shop_stencils_detail.php?id=1806) and I stenciled a wall of my living/dining room. It. Is. Awesome. Would never have found it without you …. thanks!
We’d love to see a pic! Care to upload one to our Facebook page? Sounds amazing!

I have to admit, I’m frustrated at The Tile Shop. I’ve tried many times to order online and there is no place to enter the discount code. I’ve also tried to call all of the customer support numbers and get voicemails and never a call back! I’m desperately trying to get my tile from there at a discount! I wonder if the store will honor it…
Are you sure you’re going to tileshop.com and not thetileshop.com (another site – so confusing). Here’s the contact page for them: http://www.tileshop.com/about-us/contact.aspx
I just called the customer service number listed there and got someone on the phone right away. Hope it helps!

Oh my, I would love to get one of those vintage flags for my dad who loves old stuff and all things Americana. It would look awesome in his man cave, which he plans on decorating in all Dallas Cowboys and U.S. Navy stuff.
On a random note…I work as a cashier at Menards and I’ve recently noticed a lot of people buying grellow paint. I made a comment like “Grellow must be the new thing because every one seems to want it lately” to one of the guests and she asked if I was a Young House Love fan because they use the term “grellow” too. Turns out that, yes, we are both YHL fans and yes, your kitchen inspired her to paint her bathroom the same color. Now I’m going to wonder if every person buying that paint color is a YHL reader, hahaha.
Haha- that’s too funny. What a small world!

I love Sarah + Abraham! I’ve purchased so many gifts for my nieces and nephews. The growth chart they sell would be wonderful for Clara, though something tells me you two could DIY a beautiful one on the cheap.
Thank YOU for YHL. I am always cruising through the archives for inspiration, and I love your monthly “Thank You” posts with all the great websites.
Is it just me…or is your “no swag policy” link broken? Doesn’t seem to work for this girl :)
Hmm, it’s working on our end. So sorry for the trouble. Maybe this direct link helps? http://www.younghouselove.com/2010/12/everyone-loves-a-freebie-2/

That worked! Thanks!
Used your tileshop code yesterday for our awesome new kitchen backslash tile, seen here: http://www.tileshop.com/walltile/stonewall/Hampton-Carrara-Subway/2035.aspx
I can’t wait to install it next weekend!! :)
So glad! We’d love to see photos when you install it!

I just ordered the superhero plate with bowl from Sarah + Abraham for my nephew. I thought that he deserved a special little present for him since ‘lil sis is coming anyday! So excited!
Thank you for always having great and easy ideas! As well as amazing gift ideas!

Thanks for highlighting Sarah + Anthony and providing the discount. My 9-year-old niece has a unique name so can never find a mug, pencil, or anything else with her name on it. Every year I get her something personalized – socks when she was little, a bracelet, and now cards with her name and cartoon likeness. (I also bought some for my nephew and my own 10-year-old, so you sent a lot of business to S+A today!)
I love reading your site, although it’s more like reading good fiction than a DIY catalog for me, since I will probably never get up the courage or know-how to do more than paint and fix sliding closet doors that come undone!
Thanks guys! I’ve already purchased TWO stencils with your YHL 10% discount code. Better yet – I actually *painted* with one of the stencils. I’m famous for buying and pinning “projects” without ever finishing them. Cheers!
I have the giraffe picture in my son’s room! It’s this version though (below) – we thought it was perfect for a nursery. :) He loves it too – giraffes are totally his bag. And YES when I came home from the hospital I had my mom take a picture of me kissing his little head right in front of the picture.

That was actually just an image that came with our theme (wp-remix). Hope it helps!
