What a great site you have! I just found it and I love decorating (elegant but “design on a dime” style so needless to say I love your approach). I’m a big Anthropologie and Z Gallerie fan. Always trying to achieve those styles at a fraction of the price. As for our family, we are still trying to come up for air after welcoming 2 new babies in less than a year (one through birth; one adoption). So now we have 4 children who are 5 yrs and under! Whew! We still have trouble requesting a table at a restaurant (“table for six please with one high chair, only 2 kids menus, one spot for a snap-and-go stroller- no please don’t add a high chair with 6 adult chairs…nevermind, may I please just set up the table myself?” :) )
We are very affectionate, analytical, passionate, social, funny, and spontenous people…even our little people. What would you expect with two psychologist parents; a sweet 5 year old we call “saint” who wants to take care of everyone; a firecracker who is WAY TOO perceptive to be 4; a “no fear Santa-like-belly-laugh” son; and a mellow all-smiles baby girl?

Common trait- I guess we’re all a bit quirky. My kids, all in their 20′s, will say when we are together, “I love my family.” This is usually after something odd has happened.

FAMILY ME! One thing that ties my family together is our geeky love for musicals! — MY poor husband did not know what he was getting in to when he married me. When ever my family gets together we can be seen signing show tunes at the top of our lungs! – Even the smallest phrase sets us off. The other day my husband said something about seizing the day, and I started singing and dancing the newsies song!
FAMILY ME! We all find great joy in being together as a family. We have six children, with two married, three grandchildren and another on the way. Family gatherings are wonderful!
