Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring
***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***
According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).
Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

- PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…
Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

GIMME A BREAK!
I’d head down to the beach, for sure!
GIMME A BREAK!
I work at a university, so I REALLY get to see firsthand what I’m missing out on. =) Adult Spring Break would look like this (and preferably happen someplace tropical and sunny and warm): sleep as late as my dog lets me, mimosa with brunch, napping/reading with wine, fun physical activity, party with friends, repeat. It sounds AMAZING. Let’s institute that.
GIMME A BREAK…
I’d go to a national park like the Tetons or Yosemite.
GIMME A BREAK! I would go somewhere far away from home, warm preferably!
GIMME A BREAK!
I’d hopefully have enough beans saved up for a trip! Maybe to Richmond to check out some new digs for us.
GIMME A BREAK!
I’d want to go somewhere warm and sunny, but if that didn’t work out, I’d be happy to stay home and work on creative projects and eat yummy foods all week.
Gimme a break!
I love your party for grown ups idea. I would do that for sure. Maybe even with a kiddy carnival theme…like pony rides and cotton candy. haha love it!
GIMME A BREAK!
I’d love to go camping. We just rescued a (big) puppy, and I can’t wait to take a trip as a family. :)
Gimme a break. I would take time to travel. Spain sounds nice.
GIMME A BREAK!
As of right now I’d love a week to veg out and possibly do some things around the house that have been ignored recently. If I were to go all out I’d definitely hit the beach!
Gimme a break!
I’d head to the coast of Croatia, and take the family with me. Vacation!
GIMME A BREAK!
I would go to the beach. It snowed in Chicago last night and I’ve got warm weather on the brain!
gimme a break!
I would take time to clean out and organize all of the cabinets and closets in my home.
Gimme A Break!!
Definitely would want to go on a REAL vacation…somewhere I’ve never been before that’s warm, pleasing to the eye, and full of fun outdoor activities! Maybe Costa Rica or Australia…
GIMME A BREAK!
Oh I’d love this. I’ll be jealous when my husband gets them and I don’t! I bet we’d (will) use them to catch up around the house.
GIMME A BREAK!
I would go to the mountains with my fiancee and our dogs for some outdoorsy time away from the hustle and bustle!
Gimme a break! I would nap…and sleep in. Every single wonderful day of my break!
GIMME A BREAK! I’d take a vacation to a beautiful beach.
GIMME A BREAK!!!! I’d stay at home and just relaxxxx.
GIMME A BREAK! I would try to finish up my non-digital scrapbooks :)
GIMME A BREAK! I would be on a tropical island that has a spa on the beach!
Gimmie A Break!
Somewhere tropical to soak up some sun!
GIMME A BREAK!!! Seriously – I need it. :)
I would grab my husband, our tent, and our crazy array of Coleman products, and drive, FINALLY, to the wilds of Montana and camp in the rough for a whole week. A good book, my good love, some great tunes and a campfire: heaven!
GIMME A BREAK! I love trekking to the beach with the whole family.
GIMME A BREAK!
I would go camping on the silk keyes in Belize. I have been before and would love to go back!
Gimme a break! :)
I would throw a party for sure!
GIMME A BREAK!
My husband works a ton, so I would convince him to take a vacation!
GIMME A BREAK – would probably stay home and do house projects while daughter still at daycare.
GIMME A BREAK! Stay-cation. I just went to Florida on my sister-in-law’s school spring break and forgot how many people flock there. I’d rather avoid the crowds and just get some projects done at home.
Gimme A Break! I’d go for a trip to see my brother and sister, and their children in New Mexico!
GIMME A BREAK! We’ll make some homebrew!
GIMME A BREAK! If I had a spring break, I would take a trip somewhere fabulous. Maybe not a beach, but definitely somewhere fun to get away from my 1970s-era cubicle.
GIMME A BREAK!
I would go stick my toes in the sand somewhere for sure!
I can’t even think of where I would use highlighter tape, but I LOVE it!
GIMME A BREAK! Probably a cruise with my husband and some of our couple friends. We’ve always talked about taking vacations together, but it’s SO hard balancing everyone’s work schedules!
GIMME A BREAK!
I would love to just go home! It’s about 20 degrees warmer of full of wonderful people I love! :)
GIMME A BREAK!
I would take a vacation for sure! I feel like this year is flying by and I need time to just sit back and relax for a bit!
GIMME A BREAK!
Some all-inclusive adult only vacation spot with sunshine, swim-up bars and a beach.
GIMME A BREAK!
I would relax at home, reading books and napping all day long!
GIMME A BREAK!
I would go someplace warm…at this point I don’t really care where, it just won’t seem to turn to Spring where I live and I’m sooo tired of it. :)
GIMME A BREAK!
My husband is in school right now, so he DOES get a Spring Break! But that was in May, when it was still cold out. He got some yard work done, though. Does that make us old and boring?
GIMMIE A BREAK! Anywhere other than the office is a place I’d like to be. But really just being with close friends and family I’m happy to be at home too.
GIMME A BREAK! In this dream world where I get a week off, I would also have a baby that sleeps until 11 a.m., and I would catch up on some rest.
GIMME A BREAK!!
I think I would have to do something involving a beach, margaritas, and a good book… Bermuda maybe?
GIMME A BREAK! I’d coordinate an annual week long party at a warm destination that would change every year.
GIVE ME A BREAK….I would relax, with one girl in 3rd grade and the other on the cusp of Kindergarten the schedule in my house has gotten hectic. paydates, softball practice and everything in between it’s gotten a bit crazy and I expect it to get crazier. I would love to just sit at the beach and relax with no kids.
GIMME A BREAK!
I will go to Florida to visit my family! :)
Gimme a break.
I would finish all of the diy projects I’ve started.
GIMME A BREAK!
i would be headed south: somewhere warm with a beach would suit me just fine! :)

Gimme a break!
I’d go on a West Coast road trip if I had a week off! LA, Palm Springs, Las Vegas here I come!
