Happy Valentine’s day! Or Alla Hjärtans Dag as it’s called in Swedish. Since I’m on a different timezone my Valentine’s day is almost over. I’ve visited my grandparents grave to send some love, and the rest day I spent with my fiancé. We made a great meal and played with our two cats, Alf and George. A pretty normal day, with some extra thoughts and love to my dear ones.

Worst Valentines – my bf of about 7 months went for lunch with is ex girlfriend – and then we went to his mom’s in the evening before we were supposed to go out for dinner, and he ate 2 huge roast beef sandwiches – and then was too full! That should have been a sign.
11 Valentines later – we are now married.
Tonight we won’t do anything different – as he works late – but I do know that he will not be having lunch with the ex or eating at his mom’s. Ha!
PS – I love Lisa Leonard’s stuff – I had picked out 3 necklaces for my bridesmaids as gifts – but had to go a different route in the end.

We did a nice dinner out on Friday. Since my husband is a chicken tenders, mac and cheese sort of guy, going to a place where I got duck breast and gnocchi was a huge act of love! Tonight, we’re making some filet mignon (picked up on special a couple weeks ago, then frozen for $5 for the pair) and salads at home.
