It’s where I met my husband and got married, the only place where I could hail a yellow cab in my wedding dress to get to our reception and cap the night at a diner eating bacon and eggs with a coffee in hand at 5am (being careful not to spill!) before walking home.

My Land is Maine! It’s simply beautiful, the ocean, the mountains, the city of Portland, just spectacular.
MY LAND IS LODI, CA.
I love the countryside surrounding Lodi, the sprawling vineyards, the kind people. The close sense of community. The fact that every time I go to the farmers’ market, I get a chance to connect with an old friend, some of whom I never see anywhere else.
My land is Iowa. I love that Des Moines, where I live, is an up-and-coming city with great midwestern ethic and kind people.
My land is Detroit, Michigan. I have lived here my whole life and while there is always so much negative press about the D, if you ever come here it is one of the most welcoming places on the planet. I don’t think we could ever find another place like it. Plus, it’s full of the coolest, most down-to-earth, loyal people in the world.

Michigan is the Water Winter Wonderland! Celebrating all four seasons. There are gorgeous ski resorts, top ranked golf courses, as well as fantastic summer resorts and beautiful beaches! “If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you.” And it’s becoming one of Hollywood’s favorite places to film, too! And think Motown music and Motor City grit! We have it. :-)
My land is the Twin Cities area (Minnesota)! I don’t live there now but I miss the people, the lakes/parks/trails, and being near a big-but-not-too-big city.
